Who am I

My name is Baptiste Legrand, founder of Nartdesign.

After a technological baccalaureate in industrial sciences and sustainable development (STI2D), I continued my studies in a University Technology Diploma (BUT) in Mechanical and Production Engineering, where I learned to master modeling and technical design, skills that I have always enjoyed exploring.

For a long time, I have been drawn to raw materials, and particularly to wood. I love its warmth, its natural texture, and especially its freedom: it can be transformed endlessly, shaped without limits.

In early 2025, I launched my first creations under the name Nartdesign, with a style all my own: geometric lines, parametric inspiration, low-poly effects... A clean, original design, always rooted in nature.

Why I created Nartdesign

Nartdesign was born from a simple desire: to create freely, without compromise between aesthetics, material, and meaning.

Through my creations, I want to offer unique, durable objects that tell a story. Pieces that blend modern design with raw materials, digital manufacturing techniques with respect for craftsmanship.

Each work is conceived as a personal expression, but also as an echo of the desires of those who welcome them into their homes.

With Nartdesign, I want to prove that one can combine creativity, naturalness, and character, without sacrificing authenticity.

My creative process

  • It all starts with an idea, a shape, an intention. I often draw inspiration from nature, architecture or geometric patterns to imagine original lines. 3D modeling then allows me to translate these ideas into precise, balanced, sometimes complex volumes, but always faithful to my style.

  • Next comes the choice of materials, with a strong preference for wood. Each species has its own character, texture, and nuances. I favor raw materials, sometimes reclaimed, to enhance the authenticity and durability of my pieces.

  • Manufacturing then involves a combination of digital tools and manual work. Laser cutting, assembly, finishing... each step is carefully executed to bring a unique creation to life, one that is modern, natural, and expressive.

My values

Every Nartdesign creation reflects what I believe in: genuine objects, designed with intention and respect for the material. My work is based on simple but essential values:
